Movie Story :
The film opens with Aadithya Arunachalam IPS (Rajinikanth) on a hell-bent rampage on eradicating gangsters in Mumbai. The next day he is questioned by the human rights officers about his violent attitude towards eradicating crime in Mumbai, for which he refuses & slaps a human rights officer.

The head of the human rights officer who knows Aadithya Arunachalam narrates his past to the slapped officer. Aadithya Arunachalam is revealed to be living with his daughter Valli (Nivetha Thomas) since the demise of his wife when Valli was just two years old. Aadithya Arunachalam arrives with his daughter Valli & his sidekick Kaushik (Yogi Babu) to Mumbai to take the post as an IPS officer.

Aadithya Arunachalam comes to know about the drug menace that is threatening youngsters in Mumbai. He gets to know that the daughter of the Chief Secretary is kidnapped by the drug dealers. He rescues the Chief Secretary’s daughter but he reveals that he is still searching for his daughter. Aadithya Arunachalam uses this situation to apprehend many drug dealers & woman traffickers.

After rescuing the minister’s daughter & apprehending many criminals he comes to know that some minor girls are kidnapped by Ajay Malhotra (Prateik Babbar) the son of industrialist Vijay Malhotra (Nawab Shah). Ajay demands the criminals to be released for the kidnapped girls. Aadithya Arunachalam rescues the girls & arrests Ajay.
